Terms and Conditions Google Partners Events Management Tool (“Terms”)
1. Use of the Google Partner Events Management Tool is subject to the following legal agreement between the company or business accepting these terms ("your business") and Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), whose principal place of business is at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Use of the Google Partner Events Management Tool is an additional programme benefit made available to your business as part of your business’ participation in the Google Partners Program, and these Terms are an addendum to the Google Partners Program Terms and Conditions previously entered into by your business and Google, available at https://www.google.com/partners/#p_tos (the “Google Partner Terms”).
The person accepting the Terms on behalf of your business warrants that he or she has full power and authority to do so. Your business will be deemed to agree to the Terms if a representative of it (i) clicks to accept the Terms; or (ii) accesses the Google Partners Events Management Tool.
2. Access to the Google Partners Events Management Tool
In order to access and use the Google Partners Events Management Tool, your business must hold a Google Partner (blue) or Google Premier Partner (red) badge.
3. Event Management Tool
The Google Partner Events Management Tool makes it possible for your business to:
- create your business’ own Google Partners acquisition events (both live and online);
- provide Google managed acquisition events to your business’ prospects (hereinafter “Google Connect events”);
- do the following in relation to your business’ Google Partners acquisition events and Google Connect events: (i) create invitations; (ii) build a website; and (iii) monitor registrations.
Google may, at its sole discretion, make available within the Google Partner Events Management Tool additional resources and content for use at events. Intellectual property in all such resources and content remains the property of Google and their use is permitted only in relation to approved events and in accordance with the Terms and Google’s brand feature guidelines.
You may neither publicise an event nor publish a website created using the Google Partner Events Management Tool without prior written approval of the event and the website from Google. Your business may only use the Google Partner Events Management Tool and associated resources in connection with the organisation and delivery of events promoting Google AdWords and Google’s other business products and services.
4. Google Partners Events Support
If your business is organising an event with over 20 individuals representing at least five advertisers registered to attend, and the agenda for such event is exclusively focused on Google AdWords, your business may request the below additional support from Google. Any additional support will be provided at Google’s sole discretion and Google is not under any obligation to provide any element of additional support.
Elements of additional support may include:
- participation of a Google speaker in the event;
- merchandising to give to attendees to the event;
- provision by Google of decorations for the event venue; and/or
- help from a Google Account Manager (where one is assigned to your business), which may include attendance at your event or a client meeting.
5. Your business’ responsibility for materials, websites and events created by your business and communication with event attendees
Your business will be solely responsible for the content of any materials, website or event created by your business in support of a Google Partners acquisition event or a Google Connect event (whether created using the Google Partners Events Management Tool or otherwise) and for ensuring that your business complies with Google’s Privacy Policy and all relevant data protection, privacy and direct marketing laws in your business’ communications with event attendees or prospective attendees.
Your business will indemnify Google and its affiliates for any liabilities it incurs as a result of any allegation or third party legal proceedings arising out of or relating to (i) the content of any materials, website or event created by your business and/or (ii) your business’ communications with event attendees or prospective attendees.
6. Event content
Your business agrees that it will talk about Google AdWords services and Google AdWords success stories at the events that it creates and promotes using the Google Partners Events Management Tool.
7. Amendments or cancellation of the Google Partners Events Management Tool
google may at any time, at its sole discretion:
- modify or remove the Google Partners Events Management Tool;
- revoke your business’ access to the tool or any part thereof.
google will not incur any liability to your business as a result of the exercise of the rights above.
8. Miscellaneous
The Terms are governed by same law as the Google Partner Terms and the courts which have jurisdiction over any dispute concerning the Google Partner Terms will have jurisdiction over any dispute (contractual or non-contractual) concerning these Terms.
